Thomas Mann has been painting most of his life.  Although mainly self-taught, he has always had a love for art since a child growing up in West Virginia. Moving to Southern California in the early 1970s, he became active in the Cypress, Lakewood, and Los Alamitos Art Associations in Long Beach before moving to Santa Barbara in 2003.
